Prince’s Lakes Police Swears In New Officer

We would like to introduce you to Prince’s Lakes Police K9 Officer Shaylee! Chief Southers is K9 Shaylee’s handler and they have worked tirelessly training and certifying Shaylee to detect narcotics this past year.

Shaylee is certified in detecting the odors of marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroine, articles and tracking.

Recently Chief Southers, along with K9 Shaylee located a gun, marijuana, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia on multiple traffic stops.

If you see Chief Southers and K9 Shaylee, make sure you say Hi!
